Generation4Change Awards 2022 nomination for McCarrick Construction’s James Brown

We’re delighted to see that McCarrick Construction’s own James Brown MCIOB has been shortlisted for New Professional of the Year at the Generation4Change North East awards following a string of outstanding achievements.

Generation4Change is a network of young professionals which represents the future of the UK built environment industry and is an integral part of Constructing Excellence. By connecting and giving a voice to young people in the industry, the network helps them to influence decision-makers, develop their ideas and further their careers.

This year’s ceremony, the Generation4Change North East Awards 2022, is the organisation’s seventh and will showcase the brightest and best apprentices, students, trainees, mentors, professionals and leaders of the younger generation.

We have nominated James for the New Professional of the Year category. He started out as an apprentice at McCarrick Construction and since rejoining our team six years ago he has not only provided a consistently excellent service to our clients, but over the last eighteen months he has also overcome some extremely challenging situations using strategic planning and leaderships skills.

Amazingly, whilst doing this he has also worked towards and achieved several further qualifications, ascending last year to the position of MCIOB-qualified Site Manager and mentoring two other staff members through their qualifications on the side.

Well done James and good luck for the ceremony on May 27th.
